Environmentally friendly products
• Most cardboard CD/DVD sleeves and DigiPaks can be printed on 100% recycled cardboard at NO ADDITONAL CHARGE!
• 100% recycled trays are available on all DigiPak products.
• Crystal Clear offers one of the industry’s only environmentally friendly standard CD jewel box options. Our “Green Box” is made from 35% recycled material, the tray is made from 100% recycled material, and both are 100% recyclable.

CD/DVD replication
Our main CD/DVD production facility incorporates many policies and procedures to conserve energy and promote recycling.
• None of the leftover waste or product is sent to a landfill.
• All cardboard waste corrugate is bailed every day and recycled into more cardboard.
• All new corrugate is made from recycled cardboard and paper.
• All left over plastics are recycled.
• All water used in CD and DVD production is recycled in a closed loop system where we only add water due to evaporation.
• All pallets used for shipping are reused or recycled.

Printing
• Most cardboard CD/DVD sleeves and DigiPaks can be printed on 100% recycled cardboard at NO ADDITONAL CHARGE!
• Standard CD inserts/booklets are printed using 40% post and 20% pre consumer recycled content and is FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) certified.
• All inks are vegetable-based.
• Coatings are all water-based.
• All excess paper and board waste at our print facility is 100% recycled.
• All ink and solutions are disposed in a controlled manner.

 

Crystal Clear offers one of the industry’s only environmentally friendly standard CD jewel box options. Our “Green Box” is the same size and weight as a standard clear plastic CD jewel case, yet it’s made from 35% recycled material, the black tray is made from 100% recycled material, and both are 100% recyclable. The clear part of the jewel case is tinted light green to signify the distinction of this eco-friendly product.
